Father's Day

I have to admit it was a very nice Fathers/Mothers day.  We all went out to breakfast at a family diner in Trenton and then went and had daddy pick out a fishing pole for Fathers Day near Elizabeth Park.  As the fishing pro did his business at the park, I took the kiddies to the playground at the park and a walk in the woods.  Maggie caught a toad and daddy caught 3 silver bass and then then the girls went on a pony ride at Elizabeth Park.  Grandma Finley watched the girls while the old folks got a hot stone massage and went to a Japanese Steakhouse for dinner.

Jim has built a "fairy house" in the mulberry tree on the side of our house.  He built a little door in the trunk of the tree that opens to a hole.   Maggie places a surprise in the hole for the fairy's to take and every few days the fairy's take the present and leave something for Maggie.  She gets so ecstatic, I have got to start recording it...it's so freakin hilarious.   Today they received from the fairy's a coloring pad of Tinker Bell which they spent an hour on the porch coloring.  The night ended with the girls sleeping together in Morriah's bed (a very unusual experience because they usually start a wwf wrestling match within 15 minutes) but they were sound asleep after a short movie.

The Beginning

I started writing a journal for my children when they were first born.  It started out with a post every few days....then every few months and now I haven't touched it in over a year.  Not that I didn't enjoy leaving messages for my daughters, Maggie and Morriah, but after having 2 kids and working full time as a Physical Education teacher, I just got lazy.  It's much faster to type so maybe I will do better with this blog thing.

A little about the Pan Pull family:  Jim is the big daddy... I am the sweet momma... we have two children, Magdalynn Grace (Maggie) and Morriah Rose.  Maggie will be 6 in September and Morriah will be 3 in July. We have been married for 14 years on May 30th this year and I still get butterflies when I see him.  This whole blog thing is for my kiddies....to let them read about the crap they put their parents through.  Just kidding...though you guys are very, very emotional and dramatic....we love you more than you will ever know.

Maggie just finished her first year of school in Kindergarten at Bobcean Elementary in Flat Rock.  I am so excited that she will be going to 1st grade in the fall at the school where I teach, Summit Academy in Flat Rock.  Morriah will also be going to my school for preschool.  I will be their gym teacher once a week!

Jim is working in Detroit for Brand Scaffolding.  It is a very dangerous job but he is so dedicated and works so hard to provide for the family.

We are restauranters.....I gave up on cooking so we eat out almost every day and is one of our daily highlights.  I am a couponer so we always get a good deal and I am sure you will here about them every time you read the blogs.
